To provide a tire simulation method that can calculate a state of a post-wear out of a tire tread ground contact surface accurately.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a tire simulation method and the like for calculating a post wearing-out state of a tire tread ground contact surface. In the simulation method, a tire model with a plurality of nodes, and discretizing a tire using a finite number of factors having a predetermined material characteristic defined is input to a computer. Further, according to the simulation method, the computer is configured to implement; a first step S4 that calculates a physical quantity associated with wearing-out of a tread ground contact surface as to a plurality of tread nodes constituting the tread ground contact surface of the tire model, among nodes; a second step S5 that determines an amount of movement for expressing the wearing-out of each tread node on the basis of the physical quantity; a third step S6 that moves each tread node on the basis of the amount of movement; and a fourth step S7 that updates the material characteristic on the basis of the amount of movement.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3

    【課題】タイヤのトレッド接地面の摩耗後の状態を、精度よく計算することが可能なタイヤのシミュレーション方法を提供する。【解決手段】タイヤのトレッド接地面の摩耗後の状態を計算するためのタイヤのシミュレーション方法等である。シミュレーション方法では、複数の節点を有し、かつ、予め定められた材料特性が定義された有限個の要素を用いて、タイヤを離散化したタイヤモデルがコンピュータに入力される。さらに、このシミュレーション方法では、コンピュータが、節点のうち、タイヤモデルのトレッド接地面を構成する複数のトレッド節点について、トレッド接地面の摩耗に関連付けられた物理量を計算する第1工程S4と、物理量に基づいて、各トレッド節点の摩耗を表現するための移動量を決定する第2工程S5と、移動量に基づいて、各トレッド節点を移動させる第3工程S6と、移動量に基づいて、材料特性を更新する第4工程S7とを実行する。【選択図】図3
