To provide a method that can accurately predict noise generated from a tire during traveling.SOLUTION: A tire simulation method as an example of an embodiment includes acquiring image data of a tread pattern of a tire, and acquiring a ground line that is the contour line on a treading side of a tread of the tire. The method includes subsequently deforming the ground line based on a predetermined condition to create a deformed line. The method includes scanning the deformed line in a circumferential direction of the tread pattern, acquiring variation data of the ground contact area of the tread pattern overlapping the deformed line, and calculating noise based on the variation data.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9

    【課題】走行時にタイヤから生じるノイズを正確に予測できる。【解決手段】実施形態の一例であるタイヤのシミュレーション方法では、タイヤのトレッドパターンの画像データを取得し、タイヤの接地面の踏み込み側の輪郭線である接地ラインを取得する。次に、予め定められた条件に基づいて接地ラインを変形させ、変形ラインを生成する。そして、変形ラインをトレッドパターンの周方向に走査し、変形ラインと重なるトレッドパターンの接地面積の変動データを取得し、変動データに基づいてノイズを計算する。【選択図】図9
