To provide a vibration damping system for vehicle, capable of further reducing noise generated from a panel by controlling a resonance point of a panel mounted on a vehicle.SOLUTION: A vibration damping system for vehicle controls the resonance of a specified panel 830 in a panel mounted on a vehicle (800). The specified panel 830 has a magnetic material. The vibration damping system for vehicle 1 includes a magnetic force generation device 10 which is installed on a retention part 831 retained at a position facing the specified panel 830 at a prescribed interval from the specified panel 830 and which can adjust the intensity of magnetic force and a controller 20 which detects a running state of the vehicle (800) and controls the magnetic force generation device 10 on the basis of the detected running state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
