To provide a vehicular component capable of increasing breaking strength of two members constituting the vehicular component.SOLUTION: A console assembly 1 comprises a first member 11 having a boss part 14, and a second member 12 that is fixed to the first member 11 and that has an insertion hole 18 subjected to insertion of the boss part 14. The second member 12 has a joint 17 that is joined to the first member 11 by thermally caulking the boss part 14. A joint surface 17a of the joint 17 is provided with a groove part 20. The groove part 20 is extended in a direction crossing the direction of inputting a shear load into the joint 17.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
