To mitigate a remote operational load on a remote operator caused by a communication delay between a remote operation desk and an automatic driving device of a vehicle or the like of a remote operation target.SOLUTION: A remote operation device comprises: a transmission unit that transmits a vehicle control signal to an on-vehicle device mounted on a vehicle that performs automatic driving on the basis of the vehicle control signal transmitted by the remote operation device; a reception unit that from the on-vehicle device, receives travel video of the vehicle and a return signal for sending back to the remote operation device the vehicle control signal received from the remote operation device by the on-vehicle device; an information management unit that extracts a difference between the vehicle control signal transmitted from the remote operation device to the on-vehicle device and the return signal received from the on-vehicle device; a calculation unit that calculates movement of the vehicle on the basis of the difference; and a video display unit that superposes and displays information showing the movement of the vehicle on a display screen of the travel video received from the on-vehicle device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
