To provide a self-propelled robot that improves the convenience of users who want to check traveling routes to destinations, a guide method, and a guide program.SOLUTION: A self-propelled robot 1 is configured to: process images captured by imaging devices 32, 33; approach an object person when the object person whose behavior matches a predetermined movement is detected; receive a medium presented by the approached object person; read a destination recorded in the medium; search for a traveling route to the read destination; generate guide information indicating a getting-on place of the public transportation to be used next; and display the generated guide information on the screen of a display 22a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3

    【課題】目的地への移動経路を確認したいユーザの利便性を向上させる自走式ロボット、案内方法および案内プログラムを提供する。【解決手段】自走式ロボット1は、撮像装置32,33で撮像した画像を処理し、挙動が予め定めた動きに適合する対象者を検知すると、その対象者に接近し、接近した対象者が提示した媒体を受け付け、この媒体に記録されている目的地を読み取り、読み取った目的地までの移動経路を探索し、次に利用する公共交通機関の乗り場を示す案内情報を生成する。自走式ロボットは、生成した案内情報を表示器22aの画面に表示する。【選択図】図3
