To obtain a structure of a hub unit bearing which can suppress an amount of a magnetic flux flowing at a suppression side of magnetic fluxes which are discharged from a detected part of an encoder, and can accurately support and fix the encoder to an inner ring.SOLUTION: A core grid 28 of an encoder 6 has; a cap fitting cylinder part 24 externally fit to an end part of an inner ring 17 at the inside of an axial direction; an outward flange part 31 which is bent to the outside of a radial direction from an end part of the cap fitting cylinder part 24 at the outside of the axial direction; a step plate part 32 which is bent to the inside of the radial direction from an end part of the cap fitting cylinder part 24 at the inside of the axial direction, and has a pressed face 42 at an inside face in the axial direction; a connection plate part 33 which is bent to the inside of the axial direction from an end part of the step plate part 32 at the inside of the radial direction; and a support plate part 34 which is bent to the inside of the radial direction from an end part of the connection plate part 33 at the inside of the axial direction, and arranged at an inner side of the axial direction than a caulking part 20 being a suppression part. An encoder main body 29 is supported and fixed to an inside face of the support plate part 34 in the axial direction, and has a detected part 37 at an inside face in the axial direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】エンコーダの被検出部から放出された磁束のうち、抑え部の側に流れる磁束の量を抑えられ、かつ、内輪に対してエンコーダを精度良く支持固定できるハブユニット軸受の構造を実現する。【解決手段】エンコーダ6の芯金28は、内輪17の軸方向内側の端部に外嵌されたキャップ嵌合筒部24と、キャップ嵌合筒部24の軸方向外側の端部から径方向外側に折れ曲がった外向鍔部31と、キャップ嵌合筒部24の軸方向内側の端部から径方向内側に折れ曲がり、軸方向内側面に被押圧面42を有する段板部32と、段板部32の径方向内側の端部から軸方向内側に折れ曲がった接続板部33と、接続板部33の軸方向内側の端部から径方向内側に折れ曲がり、抑え部であるかしめ部20よりも軸方向内側に配置された支持板部34とを有する。エンコーダ本体29は、支持板部34の軸方向内側面に支持固定され、軸方向内側面に被検出部37を有する。【選択図】図1
