The invention discloses a hub bearing unit and a machining and assembling method thereof, and relates to the field of hub bearing units and machining and assembling methods thereof.The hub bearing unit comprises an inner flange, a hub outer ring, an outer flange plate and a driving shaft, a plurality of raceways are formed in the inner wall of the inner flange to form a bell-shaped shell structure, and the driving shaft sleeved with a starlike sleeve is arranged in the bell-shaped shell structure; a universal joint rolling body is arranged in the roller path and is kept between the starlike sleeve and the inner flange through a universal joint retainer; a groove is formed in the outer wall of the inner flange in the circumferential direction, the outer flange plate is pressed, and torque transmission is achieved. The hub outer ring is sleeved on the periphery of the matching position of the inner flange and the outer flange plate, and double rows of raceways are arranged among the inner flange, the outer flange plate and the hub outer ring. The hobbing is additionally arranged between the inner flange and the outer flange plate for transmission, and the inner ring of the hub bearing unit and the universal joint are connected into a whole to serve as the inner flange, so that a small inner ring is omitted, the overall structure is compact, the weight is light, and the assembly time is saved.

    本发明公开了一种轮毂轴承单元及其加工装配方法,涉及轮毂轴承单元及其加工装配方法领域,包括内法兰、轮毂外圈、外法兰盘和驱动轴,内法兰的内壁上开设若干滚道,形成钟形壳结构,套设有星形套的驱动轴置入钟形壳结构内,滚道内置入万向节滚动体,万向节滚动体通过万向节保持架保持在星形套与内法兰之间;内法兰的外壁上沿圆周方向开设一个凹槽并压装外法兰盘,实现扭矩传递;轮毂外圈套设在内法兰与外法兰盘配合处的外周,内法兰、外法兰盘与轮毂外圈之间设置双列滚道。本发明在内法兰与外法兰盘之间增加滚齿进行传动,且轮毂轴承单元内圈与万向节连接为一体,作为内法兰,从而省去了小内圈,使得整体结构紧凑,重量较轻,并节省装配时间。
