To provide an exhaust emission control device enabling an in-cylinder combustion air-fuel ratio to be made rich and enabling a catalyst to be reduced while suppressing an increase in the net output as a driving source.SOLUTION: An exhaust emission control device 1 comprises: a motor generator 33 provided so that it can generate electric power using the output of an internal combustion engine; a battery 34; a battery control unit 15 which controls electric power supply from the battery 34 to an electric load and prohibits the electric power generation of the motor generator 33 when the charge rate of the battery 34 is equal to or more than a first charge rate threshold value for suppressing overcharge; and a reduction control execution unit 16 which calculates the NOx storage amount of a catalyst on the basis of an upstream NOx amount and a downstream NOx amount to execute the reduction control when the NOx storage amount is equal to or more than a reduction-start threshold value. The battery control unit 15 increases electric power supply from the battery 34 to the electric load when discharge conditions that the charge rate exceeds a second charge rate threshold value smaller than the first charge rate threshold value are established than when the discharge conditions are not established.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】駆動源としての正味の出力が増加することを抑制しつつ、筒内燃焼空燃比をリッチ化して触媒を還元することが可能となる排気浄化装置を提供する。【解決手段】排気浄化装置1は、内燃機関の出力を用いて発電可能に設けられたモータジェネレータ33と、バッテリー34と、電気負荷へのバッテリー34からの電力供給を制御すると共に、バッテリー34の充電率が過充電抑制のための第1充電率閾値以上の場合にモータジェネレータ33の発電を禁止するバッテリー制御部15と、上流NOx量と下流NOx量とに基づいて触媒のNOx吸蔵量を算出し、NOx吸蔵量が還元開始閾値以上の場合に還元制御を実行する還元制御実行部16と、を備え、バッテリー制御部15は、第1充電率閾値よりも小さい第2充電率閾値を充電率が超えているとの放電条件が成立する場合、放電条件が成立しない場合と比べてバッテリー34から電気負荷への電力供給を増加させる。【選択図】図2
