PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve estimation accuracy for deterioration of a catalyst in an exhaust emission control device using the catalyst.SOLUTION: An exhaust emission control device comprises: a travel mode switching section 10f that performs switching between an internal combustion engine travel mode and an electric motor travel mode; catalysts 15, 105 that clean exhaust gas of the internal combustion engine 2, 200; a deterioration estimating section 10e that estimates deterioration of the catalyst on the basis of an increased temperature of the catalyst; a time measuring section 10b that measures a length of time during continuation of the electric motor travel mode after the mode is switched to the electric motor travel mode by the travel mode switching section; a moisture estimating section 10c that estimates a moisture adsorption amount of the catalyst, on the basis of a measurement time measured by the time measuring section; and a deterioration estimation propriety determining section 10d that determines whether deterioration of each catalyst can be estimated or not on the basis of an estimated moisture adsorption amount of the catalyst. When an internal combustion engine is started after the travel mode is switched from the electric motor travel mode to the internal combustion engine travel mode, the deterioration estimating section executes deterioration estimation of the catalyst on the basis of the result of a determination made by the deterioration estimation propriety determining section.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】触媒を用いた排気浄化装置において、該触媒の劣化の推定精度の向上を図る。【解決手段】排気浄化装置は、内燃機関走行モードと電動機走行モードを切り替える走行モード切替部10f、内燃機関2,200の排気を浄化する触媒15,105、触媒の上昇温度に基づいて触媒の劣化を推定する劣化推定部10e、走行モード切替部により電動機走行モードに切り替えられてから電動機走行モードが継続されている間の時間を測定する時間測定部10b、時間測定部により測定された測定時間に基づいて、触媒の水分吸着量を推定する水分推定部10c、推定された触媒の水分吸着量に基づいて、触媒の劣化が推定可能な状態であるか否かを判定する劣化推定可否判定部10dとを備える。劣化推定部は、電動機走行モードから内燃機関走行モードに切り替えられて内燃機関が始動した際に、劣化推定可否判定部の判定結果に基づいて、触媒の劣化推定を実行する。【選択図】 図1
