To provide an attitude control system for a hull with further improved fuel consumption of a driving source for propelling the hull when an attitude control plate is lowered during navigation in a vessel provided with the attitude control plate in stern of the vessel.SOLUTION: A vessel includes: a trim tab attached to stern of a hull, for controlling the attitude of the hull; a trim tab actuator for driving the trim tab; an engine for generating propulsion force for the hull; and a controller for controlling the trim tab actuator. The controller determines the timing for lowering each trim tab by the trim tab actuator based on throttle opening.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
