To provide a load control device capable of improving the controllability of force applied to a load while suppressing vibration at the natural vibration frequency of a power transmission system.SOLUTION: A load control device includes a motor torque command value calculation unit 42. The motor torque command value calculation unit 42 applies feed-forward processing to a drive shaft torque command value TS*, thereby calculating a motor torque command value TM*. The motor torque command value calculation unit 42 includes a filter unit 420 and a gain adjustment unit 421. The filter unit 420 applies filtering processing for reducing vibration at the natural vibration frequency of a power transmission system to the drive shaft torque command value TS*. The gain adjustment unit 421 applies gain adjustment processing to the drive shaft torque command value TS*, thereby adjusting the gain of the steady-state characteristic of the motor torque command value TM*.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
