To provide a direct-acting actuator that can suppress the deviation of a load distribution of a ball, and can be easily manufactured.SOLUTION: A direct-acting actuator includes a nut equipped with a first screw groove provided on an inner peripheral surface, a screw shaft equipped with a second screw groove provided on an outer peripheral surface and penetrating the nut, a plurality of balls disposed between the first screw groove and the second screw groove, and a supporting member supporting the nut. The nut is equipped with a first attaching portion contacted with one end surface of the supporting member, and a second attaching portion contacted with the other end surface of the supporting member. The width of the first screw groove at a first position between the first attaching portion and the second attaching portion is smaller than the width of the first screw groove at a second position closer to the first attaching portion or the second attaching portion than the first position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
