To provide a vehicle frame structure that can increase bending rigidity of an intermediate member extending in a vehicle width direction and connecting a pair of frame members extending in a vehicle front-back direction and that can reduce torsional rigidity.SOLUTION: A frame structure 10 for a vehicle 12 includes: a pair of frame members 20 extending in a vehicle front-back direction and constituting frames of the vehicle 12; and an intermediate member 30 formed in a closed cross-sectional shape that has a ceiling plate portion 32, a front plate portion 34, and a back plate portion 36, extending in a vehicle width direction, and connecting the pair of frame member 20. A width along the vehicle front-back direction of the ceiling plate portion 32 is reduced from both end portions in the vehicle width direction toward the center in the vehicle width direction. The front plate portion 34 has a thickness of a lower end portion, which is larger than a thickness of a portion excluding the lower end portion of the front plate portion 34, and the back plate portion 36 has a thickness of a lower end portion, which is larger than a thickness of a portion excluding the lower end portion of the back plate portion 36.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
