To provide a reverse input cutoff clutch for transmitting torque which is inputted from an input-side mechanism to an output-side mechanism irrespective of a rotation direction, and transmitting or cutting-off torque which is reversely inputted from the output-side mechanism to the input-side mechanism according to the rotation direction.SOLUTION: A reverse input cutoff clutch 1 is constituted of an input member 2, an output member 3, a pressed member 4 having a pressed face 10, and an engagement piece 5 having a pressing face 11. When torque is inputted into the input member 2, the engagement piece 5 transmits the torque to the output member 3 by moving in a direction separating from the pressed face 10 on the basis of engagement with the input member 2 irrespective of a rotation direction, and when the torque is reversely inputted into the output member 3, cuts off the torque by making the pressing face 11 friction-engaged with the pressed face 10 on the basis of engagement with the output member 3 in a first rotation direction, and in a second direction, transmits the torque to the input member 2 by moving in a direction separating from the pressed face 10 on the basis of engagement with the output member 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】入力側機構から入力されるトルクを、回転方向を問わず、出力側機構に伝達し、出力側機構から逆入力されるトルクを、回転方向に応じて、入力側機構に伝達するか又は遮断する、逆入力遮断クラッチを提供する。【解決手段】逆入力遮断クラッチ1を、入力部材2と、出力部材3と、被押圧面10を有する被押圧部材4と、押圧面11を有する係合子5とから構成する。係合子5は、入力部材2にトルクが入力されると、回転方向を問わず、入力部材2との係合に基づき被押圧面10から離れる方向に移動して出力部材3にトルクを伝達し、出力部材3にトルクが逆入力されると、第1の回転方向では、出力部材3との係合に基づき被押圧面10に押圧面11を摩擦係合させてトルクを遮断し、第2の回転方向では、出力部材3との係合に基づき被押圧面10から離れる方向に移動して入力部材2にトルクを伝達する。【選択図】図2
