PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reverse input blocking clutch of a structure capable of being applied to an assembled object other than an electric shutter device including a driving motor.SOLUTION: A reverse input blocking clutch includes an input shaft 13 to which rotary torque is input, an output shaft 14 from which the rotary torque is output, a stationary-side member in which rotation is restricted, a plurality of cylindrical rollers 17 controlling blocking of the rotary torque reversely input from the output shaft 14 and transmission of the rotary torque input from the input shaft 13 by engagement and disengagement between the stationary-side member and the output shaft 14, and a cage 19 retaining the cylindrical rollers 17 between the stationary-side member and the output shaft 14. The stationary-side member is composed of a cup-shaped outer ring 15 accommodating a torque transmitting portion 44 connecting the input shaft 13 and the output shaft 14, the cage 19, and the cylindrical rollers 17, and a side plate 16 on which the outer ring 15 is mounted, and which is fixed to a mounted region, the side plate 16 is disposed at an output side, and the outer ring 15 is disposed at an input side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
