To provide an impact absorption member whose size and mass can be made smaller than before.SOLUTION: An impact absorption member 30, which absorbs impact at the time of collision of a vehicle, is equipped with a plurality of impact absorption cells 31 mounted on a frame 40 of the vehicle with intervals. The impact absorption cells 31 are configured so as to receive impact loads with polygonal tube bodies 310 for receiving the impact loads with side surfaces thereof, by getting crushed in a direction of the collision loads while broadening in a direction crossing the direction of the impact loads. A dimension S of the interval between the adjacent impact absorption cells is set to a dimension at which the impact absorption cells 31 do not interfere with each other when broadening in the direction crossing the direction of the impact loads.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
