To provide an ADAS control system and method for appropriately performing switching between ADAS control and fail-safe control when a dazzled state is determined.SOLUTION: A system includes: an on-vehicle camera installed so as to face the outside of a vehicle; illuminance measurement means for measuring illuminance of light incident on the on-vehicle camera; anti-dazzling means for adjusting permeability of light incident on the on-vehicle camera; and a control unit for acquiring data from the on-vehicle camera and the illuminance measurement means and performing adjustment control on the anti-dazzling means. The control unit is configured to: determine whether or not a dazzling state in which no appropriate data can be obtained occurs on the basis of illuminance data by the illuminance measurement means or video data by the on-vehicle camera; lower permeability of light incident on the on-vehicle camera by the anti-dazzling means when it is determined that the dazzling state occurs; perform anti-dazzling control and ADAS control when it is determined that video on the on-vehicle camera has been changed by the lowering; and perform switching to fail-safe control when it is determined that video on the on-vehicle camera has not been changed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】眩惑状態と判定された時に的確にADAS制御とフェールセーフ制御の切り替えを行う、ADAS制御システム及び方法を提供する。【解決手段】システムは、車外に向けて設置された車載用カメラと、車載用カメラに入射する光の照度を計測する照度計測手段と、車載用カメラに入射する光の透過率を調整する防眩手段と、車載用カメラ及び照度計測手段からのデータを入手し、防眩手段を調整制御する制御部と、を有する。制御部は、照度計測手段による照度データ又は車載用カメラによる映像データに基づいて、適正なデータが得られない眩惑状態であるか否かを判定し、眩惑状態と判定した時に、防眩手段により車載用カメラに入射する光の透過率を下げ、これにより車載用カメラの映像が変化したと判定した場合は、防眩制御及びADAS制御を行い、車載用カメラの映像が変化しないと判定した場合は、フェールセーフ制御に切り替える。【選択図】図2
