To provide an acoustic communication method and an acoustic communication system based on floating body attitude control, which control the orientation direction of an acoustic array without using a driving component such as a gimbals.SOLUTION: The acoustic communication method for carrying out acoustic communication between an ocean floating body 10 and an underwater object 20 to be communicated with includes: acquiring position information of the object 20; and carrying out acoustic communication by orientation angle limited acoustic communication means 15 provided to the floating body 10 with an orientation azimuth directed to the position of the object 20 through control of the attitude of the floating body 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
