To provide a location detection system that can properly detect a flying location of an air mobile body high in reliability regardless of a communication state, and to provide the air mobile body whose flying location is detected by the location detection system, and further to provide a location detection method of the air mobile body.SOLUTION: A location detection system comprises: a first facility 20 that is arranged on a ground, having an information processing device 10 to be mounted to an air mobile body 100, a distance measurement device receiving a question pulse signal to be transmitted from the information processing device and transmitting a reply pulse signal to the information processing device, and a radio beacon device radially transmitting an azimuth radio wave of an ultra-short wave band looking for a magnetic azimuth of an air mobile body; and second facilities 30 and 40 that are arranged on the ground and transmit the radio wave. The information processing device is configured to detect a flying location of the air mobile body on the basis of communication with the first facility, and detect a flying location of the air mobile body on the basis of the radio wave the second facility transmits, and use a flying location of the air mobile body detected based on the radio wave the second facility transmits in accordance with a communication state between the information processing device and the first facility.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】通信状態に左右されることがなく、信頼性の高い飛行体の飛行位置を適切に検出することができる位置検出システム、この位置検出システムによって飛行位置が検出される飛行体及び飛行体の位置検出方法を提供する。【解決手段】飛行体100に搭載される情報処理装置10と、情報処理装置から送信される質問パルス信号を受信して応答パルス信号を情報処理装置に送信する距離測定装置及び飛行体の磁方位を求める超短波帯の方位電波を放射状に発信する無線標識装置を有して地上に配置される第1設備20と、地上に配置されて電波を発信する第2設備30,40と、を備え、情報処理装置は、第1設備との間の通信によって飛行体の飛行位置を検出するとともに第2設備が発信する電波によって飛行体の飛行位置を検出する一方、情報処理装置と第1設備との間の通信状態に応じて第2設備が発信する電波によって検出した飛行体の飛行位置を利用する。【選択図】図1
