To provide a location detection system and location detection method that allow for an improvement in detection accuracy of unauthorized communication.SOLUTION: A first communication instrument 10 is configured to transmit a radio wave of location detection to a second communication instrument 11. The second communication instrument 11 is configured to, when receiving the radio wave, transmit a reply to the first communication instrument 10 after a return processing time goes by. A measurement unit 18 is configured to measure a required propagation time upon transmission/reception of the radio wave by the first communication instrument 10 and second communication instrument 11. The first communication instrument 10 and second communication instrument 11 are configured to re-execute a series of communication. In this case, the second communication instrument 11 is configured to switch the replay processing time, and transmit the radio wave to the first communication instrument 10. A right/wrong determination unit 20 is configured to compare the propagation time measured at a time of first communication with the second propagation time measured at a time of second communication, and determine right or wrong in a location relation between the first communication instrument 10 and the second communication instrument.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】不正通信の検出精度を向上可能にした位置検出システム及び位置検出方法を提供する。【解決手段】第1通信機10は、位置検出の電波を第2通信機11に送信する。第2通信機11は、この電波を受信すると、返信処理時間の経過後、返信を第1通信機10に送信する。測定部18は、第1通信機10及び第2通信機11で電波を送受信した際に要した伝搬時間を測定する。第1通信機10及び第2通信機11は、一連の通信を再度実行する。このとき、第2通信機11は、返信処理時間を切り替えて、第1通信機10に電波を返信する。正否判定部20は、1回目の通信時に測定された伝搬時間と、2回目の通信時に測定された伝搬時間とを比較して、第1通信機10及び第2通信機の位置関係の正否を判定する。【選択図】図1
