To provide an improved brake force control apparatus capable of correctly determining backup target upstream pressure even in a case where antiskid control, automatic brake control and backup control are performed, with an antiskid-controlled target wheel in a long-term lock.SOLUTION: A control apparatus controls an upstream brake actuator for generating upstream pressure and a downstream brake actuator for controlling brake pressure of four wheels using the upstream pressure. The control apparatus performs backup control so that target upstream pressure becomes target brake pressure of a specific wheel in a case where brake pressure of any of wheels cannot be reduced. In the case of performing antiskid control under the condition of performing automatic brake and backup control, with target upstream pressure being target brake pressure of the applicable wheel, the control apparatus controls so that the target upstream pressure becomes target upstream pressure (Pau) for the automatic brake control, whereas, if the target upstream pressure is not the target brake pressure of the applicable wheel, controls so that the target upstream pressure becomes the antiskid target brake pressure (Pabsi) of the applicable wheel.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4

    【課題】アンチスキッド制御、自動制動制御及びバックアップ制御が行われ、アンチスキッド制御の対象車輪が長期ロックである場合にも、バックアップの目標上流圧を適正に決定することできるよう改良された制動力制御装置を提供する。【解決手段】上流圧を発生する上流制動アクチュエータと、上流圧を使用して四輪の制動圧を制御する下流制動アクチュエータとを制御する制御装置は、何れかの車輪の制動圧の減圧が不可であるときには、目標上流圧が特定の車輪の目標制動圧になるようバックアップ制御を行い、自動制動及びバックアップ制御を行っている状況にてアンチスキッド制御を行う場合に、目標上流圧が当該車輪の目標制動圧であるときには、目標上流圧が自動制動の目標上流圧(Pau)になり、目標上流圧が当該車輪の目標制動圧でないときには、目標上流圧が当該車輪のアンチスキッドの目標制動圧(Pabsi)になるように制御する。【選択図】図4
