To provide a crank angle detection device capable of appropriately detecting an angular position of a crank shaft.SOLUTION: A crank angle detection device comprises: an oil pump 330 which discharges oil in conjunction with a crank shaft; and a hydraulic pressure sensor 350 which detects discharge hydraulic pressure of the oil pump. The oil pump is an internal gear pump which has an outer rotor 331 and an inner rotor 332 which relatively rotate in conjunction with rotation of the crank shaft. A discharge pressure changing section 332c is formed on a portion of a circumference of the outer rotor or the inner rotor in a manner that locally varies pressure of oil discharged from an oil chamber including the portion of the circumference of the outer rotor or the inner rotor with respect to the pressure of the oil discharged from another oil chamber. The crank angle detection device detects an angular position of the crank shaft on the basis of history of the discharge hydraulic pressure of the oil pump.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7

    【課題】適切にクランクシャフトの角度位置を検出することが可能なクランク角検出装置等を提供する。【解決手段】クランク角検出装置を、クランクシャフトと連動してオイルを吐出するオイルポンプ330と、オイルポンプの吐出油圧を検出する油圧センサ350とを備え、オイルポンプは、クランクシャフトの回転と連動して相対回転するアウタロータ331及びインナロータ332を有する内接歯車式ポンプであり、アウタロータ又はインナロータの周上の一部の部位に、当該部位を含む油室から吐出されるオイルの圧力を他の油室から吐出されるオイルの圧力に対して局所的に変化させる吐出圧変化部332cを形成し、オイルポンプの吐出圧力の履歴に基づいてクランクシャフトの角度位置を検出する構成とする。【選択図】図7
