To provide a railway system for improving a passenger service by preventing a train from stopping between stations even when a power supply facility in charge of power supply connected to a power network becomes inoperative in a railway system in which a power storage device is connected to the power network, power is supplied from the power supply facility connected to the power network, and information is transmitted to the travelling train.SOLUTION: A railway station includes: on-rail detection means 104 acquiring the number of on-rail trains of trains 103A, 103B existing in a predetermined section on a route; and a power management device 105 charging power regenerated from the trains, acquiring charged power amounts and the maximum instantaneous power of ground power storage devices 102A, 102B for discharging the power to the trains and calculating a power amount and the maximum instantaneous power to be allocated per one organization of trains existing in the predetermined section on the route on the basis of the charged power amount and the maximum instantaneous power from the ground power supply devices and the number of on-rail trains from the on-rail detection means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】電力網に蓄電装置が接続され、その電力網に接続された電力供給設備から電力が供給されて走行する列車に対して、情報を送信する鉄道システムにおいて、電力網に接続された電力供給を担う電力供給設備が動作不能になった場合であっても、列車が駅間に停車することを防止し、乗客サービスを向上する鉄道システムを提供する。【解決手段】鉄道システムは、路線上の予め定められた区間に存在する列車103A、103Bの在線列車数を取得する在線検知手段104と、列車から回生された電力を充電し、列車に電力を放電する地上蓄電装置102A,102Bの充電電力量および最大瞬時電力を取得し、地上蓄電装置からの充電電力量および最大瞬時電力と、在線検知手段からの在線列車数と、に基づいて、前記路線上の予め定められた区間に存在する列車の1編成あたりに割り当てられる電力量および最大瞬時電力を計算する電力管理装置105と、を有する。【選択図】図1
