To provide a train automatic operation system that can perform flexible automatic operation control in consideration of a position and running speed of a preceding train.SOLUTION: In a train automatic operation system equipped with an on-train system 20 having a function of making a train run at speed corresponding to a running pattern and an operation control device 30 that provides information for running control to the on-train system on the basis of a position of a train and diagram information, the operation control device, when determining that there is a specific section or a specific place for which a running pattern cannot be created under a usual condition in front in an advancing direction of a train mounted with the on-train system, on the basis of on-rail position information from a station security system 10, transmits information showing at least the specific section or the specific place to the on-train system. The on-train system creates a running pattern having the received information reflected thereon and controls a running driving device and a brake device so that a train runs at speed corresponding to the created running pattern.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】先行列車の位置や走行速度を考慮した柔軟な自動運転制御を行うことができる列車自動運転システムを提供する。【解決手段】走行パターンに従って列車を走行させる機能を有する車上システム20と、列車の位置およびダイヤ情報に基づいて車上システムへ走行制御のための情報を提供する運行管理装置30とを備えた列車自動運転システムにおいて、運行管理装置は、駅保安システム10からの在線位置情報に基づいて車上システムを搭載した列車の進行方向前方に通常の条件にて走行パターンを生成できない特定区間もしくは特定箇所が存在すると判断した場合に、少なくとも特定区間もしくは特定箇所の位置を示す情報を車上システムへ送信する。車上システムは、受信した情報を反映して走行パターンを生成し、生成された走行パターンに従った走行速度となるように走行駆動装置およびブレーキ装置を制御する。【選択図】図1
