To provide a train automatic operation system that can perform flexible automatic operation control in consideration of a position and running speed of a preceding train.SOLUTION: In a train automatic operation system equipped with an on-train system 20, an operation control device 30 and a station security system 10, effective diagram information including information concerning time for each train number is stored in a database. The effective diagram information includes information concerning departure-time for each station, arrival time for next station and delay time from scheduled time. The operation control device comprises communication means that can receive on-rain position information from the station security system, and radio communication means that can transmit information for running control to the on-train system. On the basis of the on-rail position information from the station security system, the information for running control is transmitted to the on-train device, in reference to the effective diagram information, a running pattern is created or modified based on the received information for running control, and a running driving device and a brake device are controlled so that a train runs at speed corresponding to the created or modified running pattern.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】先行列車の位置や走行速度を考慮した柔軟な自動運転制御を行う列車自動運転システムを提供する。【解決手段】車上システム20と運行管理装置30と駅保安システム10とを備えた列車自動運転システムにおいて、データベースに列車番号毎に時刻に関する情報を含む実施ダイヤ情報が格納される。実施ダイヤ情報には各駅出発時刻と次駅到着時刻と予定時刻からの遅延時間に関する情報が含まれる。運行管理装置は、駅保安システムからの在線位置情報を受信可能な通信手段と、車上システムへ走行制御のための情報を送信可能な無線通信手段とを備える。駅保安システムからの在線位置情報に基づいて実施ダイヤ情報を参照して車上装置へ走行制御のための情報を送信し、受信した走行制御のための情報に基づいて走行パターンを生成または修正し、生成または修正された走行パターンに従った速度となるように走行駆動装置及びブレーキ装置を制御するようにした。【選択図】図1
