To provide a battery holding structure capable of appropriately and continuously holding a battery even when an end part of the battery floats upward due to vibration or inertial force at the time of collision.SOLUTION: A holding structure of a battery 10 includes: the battery 10 having a brim 18, a carrier 12 having a main body 20 accommodating at least a lower part of the battery 10 and a flange 24 extending outward from an upper end of the main body 20, and a clamp 14 for fixing the battery 10 to the carrier 12. An upper surface of the brim 18 is an inclined surface 19 that extends downward as it extends outward. The clamp 14 includes a first contacting part 30 that comes into contact with the inclined surface 19, a first standing part 32 standing from the first contacting part 30, and a fastening part 38 to be fastened to the flange 24. A normal line Ln of the inclined surface 19 passing through a contact point Pc between the inclined surface 19 and the first contacting part 30 passes through a battery 10 side from the fixing point Ps to the flange 24 of the fastening part 38.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
