PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery holding structure capable of suppressing infiltration of dust, dirt and water into a case for housing a battery.SOLUTION: A case 30 hermetically seals a battery 10. Therefore, it is possible to suppress intrusion of dust, dirt and water into a case 30 as compared with the prior art. The plate thickness of a lower wall 31a of a lower case 31 is set to be smaller than that of a side wall 31b of the lower case 31, so that the heat of a battery 20 can be transmitted to a vehicle body side member 50. Therefore, by reducing the thickness, the thermal resistance can be lowered, and heat can be effectively transferred to the vehicle body side member 50. Accordingly, even when the battery 20 is hermetically sealed in the case 30, the battery 20 can be efficiently cooled.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】 電池を収容するケース内に埃、ゴミおよび水が入り込むことを抑制できる、電池保持構造の提供。【解決手段】ケース30は電池10を密閉している。そのため、ケース30内に埃、ゴミおよび水が入り込むことを、従来に比べて抑制できる。なお、ロアケース31の下壁31aの板厚が、ロアケース31の側壁31bに比べて薄く設定されており、電池20の熱を車体側部材50に伝達可能とされている。このため、薄肉にすることで熱抵抗を下げることができ、車体側部材50に熱を効果的に伝達することができる。よって、ケース30で電池20を密閉した場合であっても、電池20を効率よく冷却することができる。【選択図】 図2
