To accomplish weight saving of a member that suppresses a deformation of the cross-sectional shape of a center pillar of a vehicle when a collision to a side face occurs.SOLUTION: A vehicular center pillar 16 includes: an inner reinforcement 24 that has a hat-shaped cross section; and an outer reinforcement 26 that has a hat-shaped cross section, the inner and outer reinforcements being joined to each other at respective side edges. A tabular cross-bridge plate 30 is placed on a part of the center pillar 16 in the vertical direction so as to join respective flanges 24b and 26b of the inner reinforcement 24 and the outer reinforcement 26 with respective flanges 24c and 26c thereof.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
