To provide a battery cooling device for an electric vehicle which can easily protect a refrigerant supply pipe and a refrigerant discharge pipe at the time of a side collision and can cool a battery uniformly.SOLUTION: A refrigerant supply pipe 15 and a refrigerant discharge pipe 16 are arranged in the front-rear direction at the center in the vehicle width direction of a vehicle body, and a plurality of cooling members 14 extend from the refrigerant supply pipe 15 and the refrigerant discharge pipe 16 toward both sides in the vehicle width direction. Since refrigerant passages 14a and 14b are folded back at the outer end in the vehicle width direction of the cooling member 14, the refrigerant supply pipe 15 and the refrigerant discharge pipe 16 arranged in the front-rear direction at the center in the vehicle width direction are not easily damaged and leakage of the refrigerant is prevented when the vehicle receives a side collision, and since the refrigerant flows in a U-turn inside the cooling member 14, the outer position in the vehicle width direction and the inner position in the vehicle width direction of the battery 13 can be evenly cooled.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3

    【課題】 側面衝突時における冷媒供給配管および冷媒排出配管の保護が容易であり、かつバッテリを均一に冷却することが可能な電動車両のバッテリ冷却装置を提供する。【解決手段】 冷媒供給配管15および冷媒排出配管16は車体の車幅方向中央部に前後方向に配置され、複数の冷却部材14は冷媒供給配管15および冷媒排出配管16から車幅方向両側に向かって延び、冷媒通路14a,14bは冷却部材14の車幅方向外端部で折り返しているので、車両が側面衝突を受けたときに車幅方向中央部に前後方向に配置された冷媒供給配管15および冷媒排出配管16が損傷し難くなって冷媒の漏れが防止されるだけでなく、冷媒が冷却部材14の内部でUターンして流れるので、バッテリ13の車幅方向外側位置および車幅方向内側位置を均等に冷却することができる。【選択図】 図3
