PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery cooling device for electric vehicle capable of preventing immersion of water to a battery and improving fuel economy of a vehicle.SOLUTION: A battery cooling device comprises: a battery 10 disposed on the outside of the vehicle width direction of a chassis frame on a rear direction of a cab, and inside of which is cooled by fresh air introduced by a cooling fan 28; a housing 11 for storing the battery 10; a first inner passage 21 for supplying fresh air to the cooling fan 28 in the housing 11; and a second inner passage 33 extending in a longitudinal direction of the vehicle from a fresh air introduction port 34b communicating to the outside, in the housing 11, and communicating with the first inner passage 21 at a position higher than the fresh air introduction port 34b in a vehicle height direction.
