To provide a state determination device capable of reducing an erroneous detection of an operation-difficult state of a driver.SOLUTION: An integrated ECU 100 functions as a state determination device that determines that a driver is in an operation-difficult state. The integrated ECU 100 comprises a driver abnormality detection unit 71 for detecting an abnormality of a state of the driver, and a supplementary abnormality detection unit 72 for detecting at least one of an abnormality of driving operation input by the driver and an abnormality of a travel state of a vehicle. A deadman determination unit 75 for determining that the driver is in an operation-difficult state does not determine that the driver is in the operation difficult state only with independent detection of an abnormality of the driver state by the driver abnormality detection unit 71. The deadman determination unit 75 determines that the driver is in the operation-difficult state when at least one abnormality in the driving operation and the travel state is detected by the supplementary abnormality detection unit 72 in addition to the abnormality of the driver state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
