To reduce computational complexity in the case of detecting a line from an image including a travel path.SOLUTION: A line detection device 10 comprises a distribution information generating unit 140, an estimation information generating unit 160 and a specification processing unit 180. The distribution information generating unit 140 generates first distribution information which indicates distribution of pixels meeting the criteria on the basis of an image including a travel path on which a mobile body travels. The estimation information generating unit 160 selects, using the distribution information, first candidate pixels which are pixels estimated as a part of a line drawn on the travel path. The specification processing unit 180 specifies a first line included in an image on the basis of the positions of the first candidate pixels in the image.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
