To provide an oil pump driving mechanism of a vehicular power transmission device, which achieves weight reduction, cost reduction and improvement of mountability to a vehicle by simplifying a system, and can suppress a drive loss of an oil pump small.SOLUTION: A vehicular power transmission device 1 reduces the speed of rotational power, which is inputted from an electric motor (driving source) 2 to an input shaft 3, and transmits the same to an output shaft 9R. A driving mechanism of an oil pump 13 provided on the vehicular power transmission device is configured such that: a first driving gear 8 and a second driving gear 11 are fixed to the input shaft 3 and the output shaft 9R, respectively; on a drive shaft 13a of the oil pump 13, a first driven gear 14 and a second driven gear 15, which mesh with the first driving gear 8 and the second driving gear 11, respectively, are supported in a relatively-rotatable manner; and a clutch (switching means) C is provided for selectively connecting the first driven gear 14 or the second driven gear 15 to the drive shaft 13a of the oil pump 13.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
