To provide an underwater power device and its pressure balancing method capable of reducing in weight, suppressing manufacturing cost, and providing with an excellent operability and mobility in underwater, since a flexible submergence case need not provide with a high water pressure resistance.SOLUTION: A submergence case is formed in a fluid-tight manner by a flexible member and is filled with oil inside. An output shaft 8A of a brushless motor 8 stored in the case is protruded outside the case and a propulsion blade 9 is detachably installed at its tip. A pressure balancing tube 11 composed of an expandable and cylindrical tube body 11B in which mouths 11A, 11A on both ends are served as liquid inflow outlets is inserted and installed in the radial direction of the case.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
