To obtain a vehicle upper part structure that can inhibit rigidity from being reduced.SOLUTION: A vehicle upper part structure 10 includes a roof side rail body 23, a vehicle upper part of which is formed in a closed cross section structure extending in a vehicle front to back direction, and a rail garnish 26 attached to the roof side rail body 23 so as to be located outward of the roof side rail body. A first ridge line L1, a second ridge line L2, and a third ridge line L3 are provided outward of the roof side rail body 23 in the order from a vehicle upper side. The first ridge line L1 is located most outward in a vehicle width direction, and a surface between the second ridge line L2 and the third ridge line L3 is a contact surface 42D with which a weather strip extending in a vehicle up-down direction and provided on a door frame is in contact. The rail garnish 26 is bonded via adhesives 48, 46 to bonding surfaces 42A, 42B extending from the first ridge line L1 toward the vehicle upper side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3

    【課題】剛性の低下を抑制することができる車両上部構造を得る。【解決手段】車両上部構造10は、車両上部を車両前後方向に延在された閉断面構造のルーフサイドレール本体23と、ルーフサイドレール本体23の車両外側に取り付けられたレールガーニッシュ26と、を備え、ルーフサイドレール本体23の車両幅方向外側には、車両上方側から順に第1稜線L1、第2稜線L2及び第3稜線L3が設けられると共に、第1稜線L1が最も車両幅方向外側に位置しており、第2稜線L2と第3稜線L3との間の面は、車両上下方向に沿って延在されてドアフレームに設けられたウェザーストリップが当接する当接面42Dとされており、第1稜線L1から車両上方側へ延在された接着面42A、42Bに接着剤46、48を介してレールガーニッシュ26が接合されている。【選択図】図3
