PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a vehicle upper part structure that can absorb a collision load which is inputted to a joining part of a front pillar and a roof side rail at the time of a vehicle front collision.SOLUTION: The vehicle upper part structure comprises: a front pillar outer 24 which is inclined toward an upper side of a vehicle as approaching a rear side of the vehicle and has an upper wall part 42 in a vehicle width direction formed at the upper side of the vehicle; a rail outer 64 which is extended in a vehicle longitudinal direction, a front end part 43 of which is extended in a longitudinal direction of the front pillar outer 24 and joined to a rear end part 41 of the front pillar outer 24; and a reinforcement 72 which is formed in a rectangular shape whose longitudinal direction is set as a longitudinal direction of the front pillar outer 24 in a vehicle side view and a rear end part 75 of which is welded to either one of the front pillar outer 24 and the rail outer 64, where the front end part 73 at the opposite side of the rear end part 75 is held on the other of the front pillar outer 24 and the rail outer 64 to be relatively movable.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】車両前面衝突時におけるフロントピラーとルーフサイドレールとの結合部に入力される衝突荷重を吸収できる車両上部構造を得ることを目的とする。【解決手段】車両後方に向かうにつれて車両上側へと傾斜されていると共に、車両上側に車両幅方向に沿った上壁部42が形成されたフロントピラーアウタ24と、車両前後方向に沿って延設されると共に、前端部43がフロントピラーアウタ24の長手方向に沿って延設されてフロントピラーアウタ24の後端部41と結合されたレールアウタ64と、車両側面視で長手方向がフロントピラーアウタ24の長手方向とされた矩形状に形成されると共に、後端部75がフロントピラーアウタ24及びレールアウタ64のいずれか一方に溶接され、後端部75と反対側の前端部73がフロントピラーアウタ24及びレールアウタ64のいずれか他方に対し相対移動可能に保持されたリンフォースメント72と、を備えた車両上部構造。【選択図】図2
