To improve a discrimination accuracy when discriminating whether or not a subject feels a sense of discomfort.SOLUTION: A discomfort discrimination method includes detecting an occurrence timing of a sensing object sensed by a subject 7 (S1), measuring a brain activity of the subject (S4), and discriminating whether the subject feels discomfort (S5) based on a plurality of discrimination methods for discriminating a presence or absence of discomfort from the brain activity of the subject (S3) when the occurrence timing is detected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
