To prevent the derailment caused in a railway vehicle when an earthquake occurs.SOLUTION: Since a flange part of a wheel has an inclination angle, the centrifugal force acts on the inclination angle when a railroad truck travels on a curved part, and the inclination part of the flange slightly rides on a rail, a vehicle can inclinedly go around so that the railway truck can smoothly travel at the curved part. However, when large force caused by an earthquake is applied thereto, a wheel is moved to an upper part of the rail along a flange surface having the inclination angle and easily derailed. Therefore, a device for equivalently setting the flange angle vertically and extending the flange length downward is mounted on the truck so as to improve earthquake resistance drastically. The derailment is prevented in such a manner that a circular plate or a rod is mounted on a rear side of a wheel, a diameter of the circular plate is set longer than a diameter of the wheel, and an equivalently-vertical flange angle and a flange length extended downward are realized. Attention is focused on a space where a flange passes through a rail and its slightly expanded space in mounting the device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】地震発生時に鉄道車両で発生する脱線を防止する。【解決手段】鉄道の台車が曲線部を滑らかに走行できるのは、車輪のフランジ部分に傾斜角があり、曲線部を走行する時、遠心力が働き、フランジの傾斜部分が僅かにレールに乗り上がる運動があるため、車両が傾斜して曲がれるようになっている。しかし、地震の大きな力が加わるとこの傾斜角を持ったフランジ面に沿って車輪がレールの上部に移動して脱線し易い。従って、等価的にフランジ角を垂直に、かつフランジ長を下方に延伸する装置を台車に取り付けると、耐震性が大幅に改善される。本特許では車輪の裏側に円板、または棒を取り付け、円板の直径を車輪の直径より長くして、等価的に垂直なフランジ角、下方に長いフランジ長を実現して、脱線防止を図った。本装置の取り付けは、レール上をフランジが通過する空間と、その少し拡張した空間に着目した。【選択図】図2
