PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent derailment occurring in a railway vehicle on the occurrence of earthquake and thereby contribute to disaster mitigation.SOLUTION: A railroad carriage can smoothly travel along a curving part because the carriage can curve at an inclination by the motion where a flange part of a wheel has an inclination angle, the centrifugal force works in the curving part, and an inclination portion of the flange slightly raises its body on the rail. Superior characteristics are provided that can pass the curving part by a simple structure of the wheel. However, when the large force of the earthquake is applied, the wheel moves to the upper part of the rail along the flange surface having this inclination angle and the derailment occurs easily. Accordingly, the earthquake resistance is greatly improved when a device for equivalently extending a flange angle perpendicularly and a flange length downwardly is mounted to the carriage. In this patent, a disk or a rod is mounted in the backside of the wheel and a disk diameter is made longer than the diameter of the wheel to realize the equivalently perpendicular flange angle and the flange length elongated downwardly, and thereby the derailment is prevented. The mounting of this device is aimed in a space where the flange passes on the rail and its slightly expanded space.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】地震発生時に鉄道車両で発生する脱線を防止して減災に寄与する。【解決手段】鉄道の台車が曲線部を滑らかに走行できるのは、車輪のフランジ部分に傾斜角があり、曲線部で遠心力が働き、フランジの傾斜部分が僅かにレールに乗り上がる運動により、台車が傾斜して曲がれる。簡単な車輪の構造で曲線部を通行できる優れた特性である。しかし、地震の大きな力が加わるとこの傾斜角を持ったフランジ面に沿って車輪がレールの上部に移動して脱線し易い。従って、等価的にフランジ角を垂直に、かつフランジ長を下方に延伸する装置を台車に取り付けると、耐震性が大幅に改善される。本特許では車輪の裏側に円板、または棒を取り付け、円板の直径を車輪の直径より長くして、等価的に垂直なフランジ角、下方に長いフランジ長を実現して、脱線防止を図った。本装置の取り付けは、レール上をフランジが通過する空間と、その少し拡張した空間に着目した。【選択図】図2
