To provide a derailment preventive device capable of preventing the ride-on derailment, the sliding-on derailment, and the jump-up derailment without requiring energy such as electric power from the outside while not hindering the traveling of vehicles during the normal traveling.SOLUTION: The derailment preventive device includes a center rail 100 installed in parallel with a pair of rails R1, R2 between the pair of rails R1, R2 that are installed on a sleeper 300, and a center rail holding tool 200 provided on a vehicle body BO of a vehicle TR traveling on the rails R1, R2. The center rail 100 is provided with a head part 130 that is horizontally expanded from a stomach part 120. The center rail holding tool 200 is provided with a holding space 280 having a space 281 for the head part to which the head part 130 is fitted and a space 282 for the stomach part being communicated with the space 281 for the head part, to which the stomach part 120 is fitted. In a width dimension W2 of the head part 130 and an inside width dimension W3 of the space 282 for the stomach part, the width dimension W2 of the head part 130 is set larger than the inside width dimension. When the vehicle TR is in a normal traveling state, the center rail 100 is not in contact with an inner surface of the holding space 280.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
