To provide a battery-type industrial vehicle which can avoid that a battery device is brought into a block state by suppressing the overdischarge/overvoltage of the battery device at a low temperature without remodeling the battery device, and can make an operator further surely recognize that there may arise an overdischarge/overvoltage state in the battery device if continuing work as it is by daringly making the battery-type industrial vehicle difficult in use at the low temperature.SOLUTION: A battery-type industrial vehicle comprises: a drive motor; a battery device for outputting power when the drive motor is driven, and inputted with power when the drive motor is regeneratively operated; temperature detection means for detecting a temperature of a battery in the battery device; and a control device for controlling an output of the drive motor so as to be limited according to the temperature of the battery when the temperature of the battery detected by the temperature detection means is in a first low-temperature state not higher than a prescribed limit start temperature.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5

    【課題】低温時におけるバッテリ装置の過放電・過電圧を、バッテリ装置に手を加えることなく容易な方法で抑制してバッテリ装置が遮断状態となることを抑制するとともに、低温時においてバッテリ式産業車両をあえて使いにくくすることで、このまま作業を継続すると、やがてバッテリ装置が過放電・過電圧状態となる可能性があることを、より確実にオペレータに認識させることができる、バッテリ式産業車両を提供する。【解決手段】駆動モータと、駆動モータを駆動動作する際の電力を出力して駆動モータを回生動作させた際の電力が入力されるバッテリ装置と、バッテリ装置内のバッテリの温度を検出する温度検出手段と、温度検出手段によって検出されたバッテリの温度が所定制限開始温度以下の第1低温状態である場合に、バッテリの温度に応じて駆動モータの出力を制限するように制御する制御装置と、を備える。【選択図】図5
