PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery type industrial vehicle which can further reliably make an operator recognize that a battery is going to be in an over-discharged state (or cut-off state) if work is continued before the battery becomes in the over-discharged state (or cut-off state).SOLUTION: In a battery type industrial vehicle, a first voltage range, a second voltage range, and a third voltage range are set in which the first voltage range is higher than over-discharged voltage, the second voltage range is higher than the first voltage range, and the third voltage range is higher than the second voltage range. When the battery voltage is in the third voltage range during the travelling continuation mode, the obtained target rotational frequency is updated with a rotational frequency that is the upper limit rotational frequency or less set according to the battery voltage so as to perform a drive operation of a drive motor. When the battery voltage is in the second voltage range during the travelling continuation mode, the obtained target rotational frequency is updated with a rotational frequency that is the minimum upper limit rotational frequency or less so as to perform the drive operation of the drive motor. When the battery voltage is in the first voltage range during the travelling continuation mode, the drive operation of the drive motor is not performed regardless of the obtained target rotational frequency so as to perform a regenerative operation of the drive motor and stop the battery type industrial vehicle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
【課題】バッテリが過放電状態(または遮断状態)となる前に、このまま作業を継続すると、やがてバッテリが過放電状態(または遮断状態)になることを、より確実にオペレータに認識させることができる、バッテリ式産業車両を提供する。【解決手段】過放電時の電圧よりも高い第1電圧範囲と、さらに高い第2電圧範囲と、さらに高い第3電圧範囲とを設定し、走行継続モードの場合において、バッテリ電圧が第3電圧範囲の場合では、求めた目標回転数を、バッテリ電圧に応じて設定した上限回転数以下となるように更新して駆動モータを駆動動作させ、バッテリ電圧が第2電圧範囲の場合では、求めた目標回転数を、最小上限回転数以下となるように更新して駆動モータを駆動動作させ、バッテリ電圧が第1電圧範囲の場合では、求めた目標回転数にかかわらず駆動モータを駆動動作することなく、駆動モータを回生動作させてバッテリ式産業車両を停止させる。【選択図】図5
