To provide a vehicle communication system capable of contributing to improvement of safety of communication between a portable terminal and a store-side communication device.SOLUTION: A vehicle communication system 100 includes: an in-vehicle communication device 10 mounted on a vehicle; a portable terminal 20; and a store-side communication device 30 provided in a store. Communication between the portable terminal 20 and the store-side communication device 30 is performed via the in-vehicle communication device 10. The in-vehicle communication device 10 includes: a first human body coupled electrode 13; and a vehicle electrode 14 as a first external electrode. The portable terminal 20 has a second human body coupling electrode 23. The store-side communication device 30 has a first embedded electrode 33 and a second embedded electrode 34 as a second external electrode. The in-vehicle communication device 10 and the portable terminal 20 connect the first human body coupling electrode 13 and the second human body coupling electrode 23 to an occupant so as to perform human body communication via the occupant. The in-vehicle communication device 10 and the store-side communication device 30 connect the first external electrode and the second external electrode so as to perform direct communication not via an external communication network.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】携帯端末と店舗側通信装置の通信における安全性の向上に貢献できる車両通信システムを提供する。【解決手段】車両通信システム100は、車両に搭載されている車載通信装置10と、携帯端末20と、店舗に設けられている店舗側通信装置30とを備え、携帯端末20と店舗側通信装置30の通信を車載通信装置10を介して行う。車載通信装置10は、第1人体結合電極13と、第1外部電極としての車両電極14とを有する。携帯端末20は、第2人体結合電極23を有する。店舗側通信装置30は、第2外部電極としての第1埋設電極33及び第2埋設電極34を有する。車載通信装置10と携帯端末20とは、第1人体結合電極13及び第2人体結合電極23とを乗員に接続することにより、該乗員を介した人体通信を行う。車載通信装置10と店舗側通信装置30とは、第1外部電極と第2外部電極とを接続して、外部通信ネットワークを介さない直接通信を行う。【選択図】図1
