PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to correctly synchronize a vehicle communication device with a road-side communication device.SOLUTION: A vehicle communication device of an embodiment is installed in a vehicle, operates in synchronization with a clock, and includes a reception unit, imaging unit, detection unit, determination unit, and correction unit. The determination unit determines whether or not frames received by the reception unit are frames transmitted in conjunction with operation of an imaging target, on the basis of third time showing time at which the imaging target operating so that a different between imaged pictures is generated is imaged by the imaging unit and fourth time, first time, and second time that show time at which the frames are received by the reception unit. The correction unit, when it is determined by the determination unit that the frames received by the reception unit are the frames transmitted in conjunction with the operation of the imaging target, corrects timing of the clock on the basis of first position information, second position information, third position information, the first time, the second time, the third time, and the fourth time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
【課題】車両通信装置と路側通信装置とを正しく同期させることを可能にする。【解決手段】実施形態の車両通信装置は、車両に設置され、クロックに同期して動作し、受信部と、撮像部と、検出部と、判定部と、補正部とを有する。判定部は、撮像画像間に差異が生じるように動作した撮像対象を撮像部が撮像した時刻を示す第3時刻、受信部がフレームを受信した時刻を示す第4時刻、第1時刻、及び第2時刻に基づいて、受信部が受信したフレームが撮像対象の動作に連動して送信されたフレームであるか否かを判定する。補正部は、受信部が受信したフレームが撮像対象の動作に連動して送信されたフレームであると判定部が判定した場合、第1位置情報、第2位置情報、第3位置情報、第1時刻、第2時刻、第3時刻、及び第4時刻に基づいて、クロックのタイミングを補正する。【選択図】図3
