To provide a test device and test method capable of allowing a user to intuitively recognize a crosstalk state with a simple configuration.SOLUTION: An on-vehicle test device 10 includes: a first simulation communication path 11 for simulating a communication environment of a road-to-vehicle communication area 31 including a road-side unit 1 and an on-vehicle unit 2 having unique identification information; a second simulation communication path 12 for simulating a communication environment of a vehicle-to-vehicle communication area 32 including the on-vehicle unit 2 and a DUT 3 having unique identification information; a crosstalk detection section 17 for detecting presence/absence of a crosstalk in the first simulation communication path 11 and the second simulation communication path 12 on the basis of unique identification information of the road-side unit 1, the on-vehicle unit 2, and the DUT 3; a signal analysis section 15 for performing a test of the DUT 3 on the basis of data to be input/output by the DUT 3; and a report section 18 for visually displaying a crosstalk state on condition that a crosstalk is detected in at least one of the first simulation communication path 11 and the second simulation communication path 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
