To provide a vehicular suspension apparatus capable of providing excellent operability and excellent comfortability depending on longitudinal spring constant of a tire.SOLUTION: A suspension apparatus (1) comprises an upper arm (2), a lower arm (4), a wheel support (8), and a cushioning apparatus (12) whose upper edge is attached to a vehicle body (B) and whose lower edge is attached to the lower arm. The upper arm and the lower arm are so arranged that, under a state where a vehicle travels straight on a flat load at a predetermined vehicle speed, a ratio ζof an apparent reduction coefficient Cdue to change in scuff and a threshold reduction coefficient Cof a suspension is higher than or equal to a lower limit value which is set to increase as a longitudinal spring constant becomes small, and the apparent reduction coefficient is obtained by dividing vertical direction component in vehicle width direction force generated on a ground surface of a wheel due to movement of the wheel in vehicle width direction as a response to stroke with the stroke speed of the wheel.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6

    【課題】タイヤの縦ばね定数に合わせて優れた操安性と良好な乗り心地とを得ることができる車両のサスペンション装置を提供する。【解決手段】サスペンション装置(1)は、アッパアーム(2)及びロワアーム(4)と、ホイールサポート(8)と、上端が車体(B)に取り付けられ下端がロワアームに取り付けられた緩衝装置(12)とを備え、車両が平坦路を所定車速で直進している条件の下で、ストロークに伴なって車輪が車幅方向に移動することにより車輪の接地面に生じる車幅方向の力の上下方向成分を車輪のストローク速度で除算することにより得られる、スカッフ変化による見かけ上の減衰係数Cscuffと、サスペンションの臨界減衰係数CCとの比ζscuffが、タイヤの縦ばね定数が小さいほど大きくなるように設定された下限値以上となるように、アッパアーム及びロワアームが配置されている。【選択図】図6
