To provide an engine start control system capable of starting an engine by exactly matching with a timing when an occupant of a vehicle starts to feel discomfort about an environment in a cabin.SOLUTION: An engine start control system includes: an inside air temperature sensor 22 for detecting a temperature in a cabin 5 of a vehicle C; an air conditioner 4 for making the temperature in the cabin 5 close to a prescribed set temperature; a wind velocity sensor 23 for detecting wind velocity of air blown out from the air conditioner 4; a humidity sensor 24 for detecting humidity; a solar radiation sensor 25 for detecting solar radiation intensity of incident sunlight; and a control device 8 for controlling an operation of the engine 3. The control device 8 calculates an equivalent temperature on the basis of the detection results by the inside air temperature sensor 22, the wind velocity sensor 23, the humidity sensor 24, and the solar radiation sensor 25 and determines a timing for starting the engine 3 on the basis of the equivalent temperature.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】車両の搭乗者が車室内部の環境を不快に感じ始めるタイミングと正確に一致させて、エンジンを始動させることを可能にするエンジン始動制御システムを提供する。【解決手段】車両Cの車室5内部の気温を検出する内気温センサ22と、車室5内部の気温を所定の設定温度に近付けるエアコン装置4と、エアコン装置4から吹き出される空気の風速を検出する風速センサ23と、湿度を検出する湿度センサ24と、入射する日光の日射強度を検出する日射センサ25と、エンジン3の動作を制御する制御装置8とを備え、制御装置8は、内気温センサ22、風速センサ23、湿度センサ24、及び日射センサ25の検出結果に基づいて等価温度を算出し、等価温度に基づいてエンジン3を始動させるタイミングを決定する。【選択図】図1
