PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire tread excellent in wear resistance and chip cut resistance, and a tire including the tire tread.SOLUTION: The tire tread is composed of a rubber composition which contains: 100 pts.mass of a rubber component containing 40-75 mass% of a modified natural rubber having a nitrogen content of 0.40 mass% or less, and 10-35 mass% of a styrene-butadiene rubber; 20-60 pts.mass of carbon black having a cetyltrimethylammonium bromide adsorption specific surface area (CTAB) of 120 m/g or more; and 0.5-3 pts.mass of a compound represented by formula (A).SELECTED DRAWING: None
