PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the possibility that a swing member and/or actuator may be damaged due to a connecting rod buckled and deformed when impact load is applied to a front wheel.SOLUTION: An automatic inclination vehicle 10 includes: a pair of wheels 12L, 12R rotatably supported by wheel carriers 16L, 16R and laterally separated; and a vehicle inclination device 18 that inclines a vehicle inward when turning the vehicle. The vehicle inclination device includes: a swing member 36; an actuator 38 that swings the swing member around a swing axis 34; and a pair of connecting rods 40L, 40R pivotally attached to the swing member and the wheel carriers on both lateral sides of the vehicle. The connecting rods respectively have most fragile parts 56L, 56R that buckle and deform in a preset direction in a preset area when buckling load equal to or larger than a preset value is applied to the connecting rods.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】前輪に衝撃荷重が作用した場合に、コネクティングロッドを座屈変形させることにより、揺動部材及び/又はアクチュエータが損壊する虞を低減する事。【解決手段】車輪キャリア16L、16Rにより回転可能に支持され横方向に隔置された一対の車輪12L、12Rと、旋回時に車両を旋回内側へ傾斜させる車両傾斜装置18とを含む自動傾斜車両10であって、車両傾斜装置は、揺動部材36と、揺動軸線34の周りに揺動部材を揺動させるアクチュエータ38と、車両の横方向両側において揺動部材及び車輪キャリアに枢着された一対のコネクティングロッド40L、40Rと、を含み、コネクティングロッドは、予め設定された値以上の座屈荷重が作用すると、予め設定された領域において予め設定された方向へ座屈変形する最脆弱部56L、56Rを有する。【選択図】図1
